The Future of Work After Laudato Si' project involved six tracks of research on the future of work as well as collection of good practice and capacity-building models and was proposed after five years of collaboration at a global level related to the Sustainable Development Goals.

ICMC's undertook the track on 'jobs, demography and migration', resulting in three separate pieces of work, a photojournalism book 'Driven by the Depth of Love' illustrating the living conditions, challenges and stories behind these human journeys, and two reports, consolidating international research from organisations, faith communities and social partners.

The photobook was designed to give maximum presence to the images, with simple country-based graphics and clear narration. The two reports, being more text based with academic writing were designed with legibility in mind - text hierarchy, white space, pullout boxes or imagery to break up large text sections and all designed for print audiences.
